What areas do the GPS CTguide cover?

1. Just attach the GPS CTguide unit to the windshield
2. Plug it into the cigarette lighter and switch on
3. Type in your destination or choose a Point of Interest (POI) on the touch screen
4. Follow the clear voice and visual instructions to your destination on the 3D map

3. Why should I rent instead of buying?
 
Renting is the ideal solution if you need a Personal Digital Guide or GPS CTguide only occasionally and not on a daily basis. You can save money by renting equipment you need only some of the time. Unless you are a frequent traveler, investing in costly GPS technology for only occasional use just doesn't make sense. You can rent our high quality, top of the line GPS CTguide units for much less than you'd pay to buy even inexpensive, low quality GPS units that do not even offer the same features. The typical local rental option – if available in your area at all - is an inconsequential sideline to a retail dealer's primary mission of selling new equipment. Our primary focus is rentals – we want to ensure you have the most enjoyable experience possible. We offer only high-end units in top condition while maintaining very competitive rates.

  1 Using our online rental form, select your travel dates and destination and book the GPS CTguide for your trip.
  2 We will send you the GPS CTguide so as it will arrive at your house, office or hotel the day you booked for - Guaranteed!
  3 Travel to your destination. Use the GPS CTguide wherever you need it. Look for attractions and places to go and have a great trip.
  4 To return the GPS CTguide, pack it back into the delivery box, stick the carrier return label on, and take it to the carrier's closets location.
   
5. How do you ship?
  We will deliver your order to your home, office or hotel. You will receive your order at your “Pick-up” date. We ordinarily use UPS or FedEx shipping and charge a roundtrip flat fee.
   
6. How do I return the equipment?
 
Your GPS CTguide will be carefully packaged and shipped to you in a re-usable box, which also contains usage instructions, return instructions, and a prepaid return label. When ready to return the equipment just repackage it in the same box and take it to the nearest FedEx drop-off site. All you have to do is place the equipment back in the original shipment box, carefully re-seal it, affix the label we provided, and drop the box off at an authorized shipping facility, which includes places like a FedEx Store, etc. You should obtain a receipt from the shipping facility reflecting the date you dropped it off. 7. Where do I return the Equipment?
 
You must return the equipment to our shipping facility, the address shown on the FedEx return label, at GPS Planet, 1256 E. 68th Street, Unit 3, Brooklyn, NY 11234
   
8. How far in advance do I have to place an order?
 
We generally ship your order within 2 business days of its receipt; often the same day. Your order should therefore be placed at least 3 - 5 business days in advance of your Start Date -just to get it there - and that's pushing it. It is best to reserve as far ahead as possible to ensure availability of GPS units, particularly if you want it in July or August, the busiest time of the year for us. We recommend making your order/reservation at least 7 (business) days in advance of your trip.
   
9. How do I know I will receive my order on time for my trip?
  We offer a delivery guarantee, and as a last resort, there is always overnight delivery. The best way however is to order on time. When we ship, we send you tracking information so you can check into the status and location of your gear as it make its way to you.
   
10. Can I keep the equipment if I like it?
 
Yes! If you like the GPS CTguide and want to keep it, we will apply your deposit towards the purchase price. Unless the unit you received was brand new, you will be charged 20% off the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) and...we will also deduct 20% off your rental fee. 11. Do I have to put down a deposit?
 
Yes. We learned the hard way that asking for deposits is the only way to protect our bottom line. A deposit in the amount of the MSRP will be reserved on your card at time of ordering. Our rental prices are low, but we must be protected from loss of the high value of our equipment while it is in your possession. Right before we ship the equipment to you, we place a reserve against your credit card for the amount of the deposit, which will be roughly the retail value of the equipment. The exact amount is shown on your order before you place it. When we receive the equipment back in a timely manner and in good condition (see Rental Terms); we release the reserve and charge only the rental fee with any applicable shipping and tax charges.
   
12. How do I contact you if I have more questions?
 
We're ready to answer your questions about our products and services, but we've tried real hard to provide a lot of info on this site to minimize any problems.
